The British Gas Accumulator Challenge team, led by Tom Riechert, have completed the next phase of their plan to grow their £50 as much as possible.

They organised their mega raffle at the Leicester office (Aylestone Road site) with a first prize of £500, and several other cash and high quality prizes.

The draw took place recently and British Gas team chief fundraiser, Daniel, won the £200 cash prize. He very kindly donated half of it back to LOROS.

They took a total of £2,900 which was way above what they expected!

Tom Reichert, Business Manager at British Gas said: “Daniel has done a fantastic job of selling the tickets. We now need to come up with our next idea to make sure we are still in front when we get to the finish line – I think we might have raffled out most of the Leicester office but I’m sure we can come up with a plan!”

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "I’m amazed at the way this team has thrown themselves into our challenge and the very enterprising ideas they keep coming up with.

"I wish them the very best of luck for the final few weeks and look forward to seeing them all at the Awards presentation in June."
