HRG Leicester's Mikesh (aka Mel B) is riding high for LOROS

HRG Leicester are still going strong with their Accumulator Challenge, and have just exceeded £3,000!

In May Mikesh, a member of their team, said that if people sponsored him, he would come to work dressed as female alter ego Mikaela and if more than £50 was raised he would offer different options for people to vote on.

After surging past £50 in the first day, a vote was taken and Mel B from the Spice Girls was voted the winner.

True to his word, on Friday 29th May, Mikesh cycled all the way to work in his Mel B outfit and then walked both floors selling food from a tuck shop. So far he has raised over £200!

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "Wow - what a great idea Mikesh came up with - and he looks so cute in his outfit. I bet he turned some heads wen he was cycling to work!

"I'm really pleased that the staff supported him in his venture and that he did so well with his fundraising; I can't wait to see what unusual ideas the team come up with next."
