LOROS staff and volunteers said their goodbyes to Jean and Gerry Busby with an afternoon tea at Palmers Garden Centre today.

Jean and Gerry are moving to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren in Weymouth.

The couple have raised tens of thousands of pounds for LOROS through their fundraising coffee mornings and sales and are also well know for organising refreshments at Light up a Life, Walk on the Wildside and the Remembrance Services held at the Hospice.Alt text

For many years they also catered on the LOROS snack bar on Friday mornings.

The busy Busby's are celebrating their big birthday's over the next week or so - we're not allowed to say their age but it's over 79!

Everyone at LOROS wishes Jean and Gerry the very best of luck with their move and a very happy retirement with their family in Weymouth.
