Everyman Racing have been hosting fundraiser events for Leicestershire charities which include LOROS.

Anna Bridgeman, from Everyman Racing said: "We try to donate as much money to charity as we can and it is something that we pride ourselves in.

"For those who have driven with us at the Prestwold Driving Centre, you may have remembered doing a free 4×4 off road experience? It’s from these passenger rides that we raise money by optional donations for charity, offering an fun obstacle ridden treacherous route in a 4×4 driven by one of our professional drivers for free.

"This experience is not only for those having a driving experience, family and friends are also welcome in on the fun and we’re grateful for any donations we receive.

Over the years we’ve raised thousands of pounds and are very proud to present LOROS with a huge £6,000 cheque to put towards the day to day running of the Hospice."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "I was delighted to be invited to the centre to accept Everyman Racing's donation.

"Whilst I was there Anna very kindly offered me a passenger ride - I said that I would love to but it would be appreciated even more if they could provide us with a voucher that we could use as a prize at our upcoming Prohibition Ball. Anna very generously offered both - how lucky am I and how generous are they!

"I would like to say a huge thank you, on behalf of everyone here at LOROS, for their support; their donation of £6,000 could pay for the care of an inpatient for a 12 day stay at the Hospice."
