LOROS was delighted to welcome Councillor David Snartt and his wife, Joan, for a visit to the Hospice.

Leicestershire County Council Chairman, Councillor Snartt, will be supporting LOROS and Leicester Children’s Holiday Centre during his term of office and hopes to be able to find opportunities to raise funds throughout the year.

Both David and Joan enjoyed their tour of the building and meeting patients, volunteers and staff.

John Knight, Chief Executive of LOROS said: "We feel very honoured that Councillor Snartt has chosen LOROS as a recipient of his support during his year as Chairman.

"It was my pleasure to welcome him and his wife to our Hospice and I hope they were impressed with the passion of the charity to provide excellent care both here at the hospice and also out in the community where our staff go to see patients in their own homes.

"We look forward to a great working relationship with the Chairman during his year in office"
