Several members of staff from BDO East Midlands recently took on the the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for our Hospice.

The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 'one go' and is a very tough event.

Hannah Ritchie, from BDO said: "Everyone completed the trek and we are all back safe and sound, if somewhat weary!

"Three peaks in 24 hours with no sleep really was a very tough challenge, but we are delighted that, so far, we have raised in excess of £1,000 for LOROS."

The team are leaving their fundraising page open for a further week, so if you would like to help them reach their target of £1,500 please click here

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS added: "This is another great achievement by our supporters.

"On behalf of our patients and their families, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the team for their very hard work and dedication to completing their challenge.

"The money they have raised so far could cover the cost of one of our specialist nurses to look after our inpatients for a week plus 12 aromatherapy, reflexology or massage sessions. Your hard work really has made a difference.”
