On Monday 10th August Julie Richards and David Whetstone donated £161 to LOROS. The money was raised by auctioning a Leicester City Football Club sign.

Julie said: “We would like to thank LCFC for giving us their permission to auction their sign. It helped us secure some funds for the charity which is very close to our hearts; we know first-hand how wonderful LOROS is.”

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS added: “We are very grateful to supporters like Julie and David who taking every opportunity to raise money for our Hospice. The amount they raised could cover the cost of meals for a day for 32 patients. Donations like these, help LOROS to continue making a difference to terminally ill people from Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.”
