On a bright and sunny Saturday in July Jessica Lowe, Rachel Evans, Tracey Phillips, Anita Pancholi, Edward McCann and Srajal Lalseta, all took part in a Skydive to raise funds for LOROS.

They arrived at Langar Airfield in Nottingham and were taken through their paces and all the safety talks before climbing into their planes to take their plunges with their sky dive buddies.

Srajal Lalseta (pictured middle left), Product Manager at Global Payments said “I always wanted Alt textto Skydive, but wanted to do it towards a good cause. There is nothing better than supporting our local charity LOROS, which is the Charity of the Year where I work.

"I raised over £300 for the chaity and it was a great experience. I absoloutely loved it and would readily do it again! I would also like to thank LOROS for making it happen.

Rachel Evans (pictured bottom left), who is an HR Supervisor at Caterpillar UK Limited, added: "LOROS is our Charity of the Year and Alt texttherefore attracts great support here on site.

Completing a sky dive is something I have always wanted to do, it was on my bucket list. When I saw the advert for the LOROS 'One Big Jump', I decided to just go for it.

"I have had a lot of support from family, friends and work colleagues and raised just over £1,250 which totally overwhelmed me!

"It has to be one of the most amazing things I have ever done and raising so much money for a great cause just topped it off!"

Wendy Marshall, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "Thank you to our six skydivers who took this challenge in order to raise crucial funds for their local Hospice.

"We are glad to hear that they all had a great time and that the Big Jump in aid of LOROS was a wonderful experience for them”

Skydives are available all year round, so if you would like to raise funds for LOROS please call a member of the LOROS Fundraising Team on (0116 2318431/2) for further details.
