On Sunday, 20th September a group from the Jobcentre, Department for Work and Pensions for Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, undertook a challenge for LOROS and organised a walk at Foxton Locks.

Jennifer Kenderdine, Jobcentre Leader said: “We were hoping for a good response from the staff and weren't disappointed.

"As well as raising around £410 for LOROS, we had a most enjoyable walk on a lovely sunny day."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "We are very grateful for the support we receive from the Jobcentre staff and delighted that they enjoyed themselves whilst raising much needed funds for our Hospice.

"The £410 they raised could pay for one of our Community Nurse Specialists to visit four patients in their own homes, providing free care and support to them and their family members - Thank you all so much for your support"
