Vodafone staff get in the saddle for LOROS

A big thank you to all the staff at the Vodafone store in Beaumont Shopping Centre, Leicester who organised a static bike ride recently to raise funds for the Hospice.

The money they raised was fund matched by their company leading to a wonderful total of £454.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "I was delighted to be asked to go along and collect a cheque from the Vodafone team. They worked so hard to raise their funds and it was most generous of Vodafone to match fund it.

"I know that the team is already considering ways of supporting us over the Christmas period and I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

"The money they have donated today could pay for one of our Community Nurse Specialists to visit four patients in their own homes, providing care and support for them and their family members.

"Their efforts have made a real difference to some of our patients - a huge thank you from everyone at LOROS."
