The 2015 Swithland Flower and Vegetable Show was a huge success - raising £5,700 for local charities, of which, LOROS was a beneficiary.

David Lindley successfully bid for a pumpkin at the show and then donated it to LOROS for a "Guess the Weight" competition. It weighed 30.4kg and raised an amazing £96.

LOROS Fundraising Co-ordinator, Debbie Dickman, who was invited to say a few words during the show, said: "I was delighted to attend this event on behalf of LOROS. Everyone was having a great time whilst raising a huge amount of money for local charities.,

"LOROS was thrilled to be named as one of the beneficiaries of their fundraising and were allocated £2,200. This could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for a week and contribute to the towards the running of the day therapy service for a day - thank you so much"
