Each year The Beaverbrooks Charitable Trust allocate money to each of their staff to donate to a charity of their choice.

The team from Beaverbrooks, Leicester branch voted to donate their £100 each to LOROS.

On Tuesday 20th October Jacqui Tebbutt from Beaverbroooks visited the Hospice to present their very generous donation, which was accepted on behalf of LOROS by Fundraising Co-ordinator, Magdalena Korytkowska.

Jacqui also took the opportunity to take a tour of the Hospice and was very moved and surprised at how big and wonderful LOROS is.

Magda said "We made the most of our time to discuss other ways that Beaverbrooks could support LOROS. Ideas included fundraising opportunities, corporate volunteering and donating some prizes.

"I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Beaverbrooks. Their donation could pay for one of our Community Nurse Specialists to visit 13 patients in their own homes, providing free care and support to patients and their family members.

"We are looking forward to working with the Beaverbrooks team in the future."
