Three charities have received a total of £15,000 in donations from a local developer.
Westleigh, which builds homes across the East Midlands, chose LOROS Hospice, the Bodie Hodges Foundation and the Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust as its charities of choice for 2015, providing a donation of £5,000 to each.
LOROS Fundraising Co-Ordinator Magdalena Korytkowska said: "We would like to thank all at Westleigh for their continued support to LOROS and for the very kind and generous donation.
"It will make a wonderful difference to the care we provide as this amount is equivalent to the cost of a community nurse specialists visiting 500 patients in their own homes"
Employees at Westleigh raised a further £534 for the hospice by taking part in a 100-mile bike ride from Leicester to Norfolk.
The Bodie Hodges Foundation was set up to purchase a holiday home for bereaved families to find respite, following the death of a child. The charity was founded by parents Nick and Donna Hodges following the death of their baby Bodie, aged 10 months. They are looking to raise £150,000 to buy a luxury holiday home in Stamford to support families from the East Midlands.
Nick Hodges, founder of the charity, said: "We are extremely grateful to Westleigh. The funding will allow us to purchase a luxury hot tub which is just one of a number of luxury items which we are looking to include in the holiday home to really give families a place to escape and have the chance to try and relax away from every thing."
The Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust, was set up by Robbie, prior to his death, aged 13, in 2005, to provide a dedicated teenage cancer ward and age appropriate facilities at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The donation was used to buy bladeless fans to keep the children's oncology ward cool during the summer and wheelchairs for toddlers.
Fiona Anderson, Robbie's mum, said: "The money from Westleigh was a really lovely surprise and has gone such a long way to helping the ward as well as supporting one young patient in particular who has been able to travel abroad for further treatment as well as enjoy a holiday with her family."
Chris Heighton, managing director at Westleigh, said: "I'm thrilled to hear our funding has gone on to help so many people and will continue to do so over the coming months."
