British Gas volunteer team help in LOROS warehouse

The Leicester based British Gas team completed their last Corporate Responsibility Day for 2015 working at the LOROS Warehouse and visiting the Hospice.

Suhail Valli, Revenue Protection Analyst at the office said: "We really enjoyed our tour of the hospice. It was great to see how much work goes on behind the scenes to ensure the best care is given to all the patients and families being cared for by LOROS.

"We spent the rest of the day helping sort through clothes that had been donated to LOROS. They rely heavily on volunteers and there was a massive backlog of bags as you can see in the pictures. We worked really hard to reduce them!

"It was a fun day but, more importantly, very rewarding and we are all extremely proud of the contribution we made in helping LOROS."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS added: "The British Gas team have worked really hard to help us again this year and their contributions, both monetary and in volunteer hours, has been greatly appreciated by everyone here at the Hospice.

" A huge thank you to every single person who has helped in any way throughout 2015. We really hope that your support will continue and we look forward to working with you all again in 2016."
