Jordan Motors and Practical Car & Van Rental, recently held a coffee and cake morning at their site on Narborough Road South.
Caroline, from Practical Car said: "It was a lovely morning and most of the cakes were snapped up by our customers, enabling us to raise funds for a very worthy cause."
Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS added:
"I am so pleased that the event was a success and would like to thank the staff members as well as Practical Car customers for raising funds for LOROS.
"I am look forward to their next event which is a Gift Wrapping service on 12th December."
LOROS would also like to take this opportunity to thank Julie Spence, from both of the companies, for supporting our newTreecycling campaign by very kindly providing the Hospice with three vans, completley free of charge, to collect the Christmas trees and deliver them to Welland Waste Management, where that will be turned into wood chippings.
