Sara’s Charity Ball

This year’s event at Shearsby Bath was another resounding success for the organisers.

100 people attended the ball, enjoying a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, a fabulous four course dinner, and a raffle with some great prizes.

The guests were entertainer by a magician and danced the evening away to the incredible Stax of Soul and a disco.

Magdalena Korytkowska, LOROS Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator said: "We had lots of great feedback from the guests and it certainly looked as though everyone really enjoyed themselves.

"The support for LOROS was evident everywhere - Christine Alam, a LOROS volunteer, and myself were selling raffle tickets and sold out half way through the evening; with the donations from table games we made £621.

"Added together with the £5 per ticket donation from Shearsby Bath, the Ball raised a superb £1121 in total. This could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for almost two weeks - a truly remarkable achievement.

"Thank you so much from everyone at LOROS."
