Colleagues at Asda, Abbey Lane, Leicester, recently secured £290 from their Community Grant towards the LOROS Day Therapy Christmas lunches.

Ross, the Community Life Champion for the store, popped in on Wednesday 2nd December to present the donation to members of the staff.

Magdalena Korytkowska, LOROS Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator said: "We would like to say a very big thank you to the Asda colleagues at the Abbey Lane store, for thinking about LOROS at this very special time of year.

"The donation will help cover the cost of our Christmas dinners & teas, festive goodies and some small gifts from LOROS/Asda. We’re hoping to bring festive cheer to around 100 outpatients using the Day Therapy during their week of Christmas, as well as around 20 LOROS volunteers and staff.

"We would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2016 - Thank you once again"
