Congratulations to Central England Darts League[CEDL] Loughborough qualifier Craig Allen on winning the 2015 LOROS Darts Masters.

The eight finalists all came through competitions from various venues from around Leicestershire to fight it out in the last 8 at Mountsorrel WMC last night. Craig beat James Thompson in the last 8, then CEDL Enderby qualifier Jay Foreman in the semi-final, before over coming Nick Edwards in the best of 5 final.

All eight played Jamie Caven in an exhibition, with all players receiving a set of Jamies darts for reaching the finals.

The darts aside, the reason we were all there was to raise money for LOROS, a very worthy local charity.

A total of £2,150 was raised from all qualifiers, raffles and donations on the night, including a very generous £100 prize money donation from Craig for winning the event, a fantastic gesture!

Surprise of the night was when a local company matched the amount raised, giving a total in excess of £4,300.

A fantastic achievement from everyone involved, from Jamie Caven, Debbie Caven, Adie Mason and all the players, from finalists to qualifiers, supporters and fund raisers.

Looking forward to the LOROS Darts Masters 2016!
