The LOROS Supporters and Friends from GE Measurement & Control Solutions (Druck Ltd) based at Groby organised another very successful fundraising event last weekend.

Their annual, free Santa’s Grotto event was open to employees, their guest and friends as well as local villagers. Despite the very windy weather, it was very well attended.

Visitors were able to buy stocking filler and gifts from LOROS and Air Ambulance, who are two of GE’s chosen charities. Alt textChildren enjoyed their gifts from Santa whilst the adults tucked into mince pies and drank mulled wine.

Magda Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "Everyone appeared to be having a great evening and the children loved Santa's grotto.

"Our Lottery Promoter signed three new members, I sold more than £70 of LOROS Christmas mascots and we had lots of interest in our upcoming events.

"It was a lovely evening and I would like to thank GE for allowing us to put up a stand and for hosting us so successfully - their support has been tremendous and I hope we can continue our partnership with them.

"We would like to wish everyone associated with GE Druck a very Merry Christmas and a happy and successful 2016."
