Santa and the Snow Lady support LOROS

Santa and the Snow Lady (aka Mike & Julie Collett) spent the day at Tesco's Park Road Store in Loughborough entertaining shoppers and collecting for LOROS.

Julie said: "We had a lovely day with all the customers, young and old alike. Some of the little ones were a bit shy with Santa but we soon had them waving and smiling and telling us how good they’d been.

"Mike and I are pleased to say that we collected £604.79 for the Hospice."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, said: "This is just the latest in a long line of fundraising activities undertaken by Mike and Julie for LOROS.

"The money they raised at Tesco's could pay for one of our Community Nurse Specialists to visit six patients in their own homes, providing free care and support to the patients and their family members.

"We are so grateful for their continued support and I look forward to hearing what they will be doing next - whatever it is, I know it will be another success!

"We would like to say a huge thank you to Mike and Julie for everything they have done for us once again this year and wish them both a very Merry Christmas and a happy 2016."
