Female impersonator Ceri Dupree is to stage a one-night spectacular to raise money for county hospice service LOROS.

The London-based entertainer is promising “a sensational evening of visual comedy” in her one-woman show to be held in Leicester’s Symphony Rooms in Burnmoor Street on Friday March 11 at 7.30pm.

Her stage shows see her impersonating some of the strongest female figures in entertainment, including Cher, Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga.

Tickets for the special charity show cost £10 with all profits going to LOROS.

The charity runs a 31-bed in-patient facility as well as offering palliative day treatment, counselling for patients and their families, medical and complementary therapy clinics, community nurses and family support services for terminally ill adults across the county.

All services are offered free of charge to around 2,500 patients each year at a cost of £7.5 million.

While the charity receives some NHS support, it needs to raise £4.5 million every year to keep the services running.

To book tickets for the show call (0116) 231 8484.
