Elaine Godber, Corporate and Community Relations Co-ordinator and Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator spent an enjoyable day with colleagues from HSBC at their Roadshow yesterday.

They were invited, along with other charity representatives, to talk to the staff at HSBC about how they can be more involved with supporting local causes.

Opportunities included volunteering at the Hospice, raising funds by taking part in LOROS campaigns, hosting a donation station and helping out at our events.

Elaine said: "I would like to thank HSBC for their invitation to the Roadshow. It gave us the opportunity to network with lots of people and spread the word about the work we do at LOROS.

"I am delighted that HSBC has already chosen to take a donation station for an indefinite period and I am looking forward to keeping them apprised of their fundraising total."

Magda added: "We had a very successful day at HSBC and were given the opportunity to make people aware of the Hospice and the services that we offer.

"Three members of staff have undertaken to do a Skydive to raise funds for us and several of the men have promised to take on marshalling duties at our annual Twilight Walk. Others were looking to organise a Static Triathlon using equipment provided by the Hospice."

Are you a business owner who would like to make a difference in your community? There are many ways you and your company can support LOROS Hospice; either through fundraising, volunteering, donating your skills and expertise, or raising awareness about our services.
