The annual LOROS Accumulator Challenge officially commenced on 16th March.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, personally delivered the Accumulator Challenge Welcome Packs along with their £50 notes to all the teams taking part this year. They now have three months to grow their £50 as much as possible, just as long as it is legal and ethical.

Magda said: "The enthusiasm, creativity and smiley faces truly made my day and I’m very grateful for the can-do attitude which was present everywhere I visited. From what I can see it’s going to be a very competitive Accumulator with a lot of wonderful ideas and I am looking forward to seeing them in full swing.

"Some of the teams already have their fundraising hats on. British Gas kicked off with the Static Triathlon challenge organised in their office whilst Joanne Kavanagh – a one woman band – has already raffled her amazing chocolate cake. You can see how she got on here and if you would like one she is going to be raffling a cake every week of the Accumulator Challenge.

"Good luck to everyone and have a lot of fun whilst you are raising crucial funds for your local Hospice. I look forward to seeing you all together at our thank you evening after the challenge to celebrate all your achievements."

The teams taking part in this year's challenge are: 33rd/65th Leicester Scout Troop, Argento, British Gas, College Court, Coventry Building Society, Freedom Care, Imperial College, Joanne Kavanagh - Artist, Leicester Mercury and Leicester Racecourse.

The Accumulator Challenge is a great way to work together with your colleagues to compete against other local businesses and to boost a little healthy competition. It's not too late to join in this year's challenge. If you would like to take part, please call Magda on (0116) 231 8431/2 or email MagdalenaKorytkowska@loros.co.uk
