A volunteer team from British Gas, based at Grove Park, delivered leaflets throughout the Belgrave area of the city for the Hospice.

Organised by Ange Baxter, the team were briefed by a member of the LOROS fundraising team before setting off to spread the word about our Twilight Walk, Paws 4 a Cause, the Royal Ascot Ladies Day Experience and the Colourfun Mile.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "British Gas supports good causes by giving all their people the opportunity to use up to 16 hours every year to volunteer for the projects they care about most.

"Employees at British Gas, Grove Park, have supported LOROS for several years and have completed some very worthwhile projects for the Hospice, as well as working in our warehouse, shops and delivering flyers.

"It is a pleasure to work with such keen and very helpful people and I would like to say a huge thank you from everyone in the LOROS Fundraising Department for their continued support."

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community. You can make a real difference and it’s a fantastic way to develop your skills and confidence too.

We always have lots of different opportunities available and would welcome your support.
