Local hairdressers raise more than £1,600 for LOROS

On Saturday, 19th March, Liza Vasilev and her partner Sue Bright re-launched their newly refurbished hair salon.

Now renamed Gorgeous, Lisa and Sue, alongside their wonderful team Naomi, Deme, Mia and Nicky, officially opened the salon on Beatrice Road, Leicester and welcomed friends, colleagues, customers and LOROS Ted to help them celebrate; there were cakes aplenty and the champagne flowed freely.

LOROS Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator, Magdalena Korytkowska said: "I was delighted to go along with LOROS Ted and represent the Hospice at Liza and Sue’s grand opening. Alt text I was really touched by the backing and encouragement they received from their local community and the lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

"The team have been supporting the Hospice for a number of years by selling LOROS 'cuddlies', joining in our campaigns and organising their own events. Their fundraising total currently stands at £1,654.12, which is fantastic.

"The amount the team have raised could pay for the cost ofAlt text one of our specialist nurses for two weeks and I applaud their continued commitment to the Hospice.

"Thank-you so much Liza, Sue, Naomi, Deme, Mia and Nicky."
