LOROS recently hosted their annual Paws 4 a Cause dog walk in Abbey Park, Leicester, where more than 100 dogs took their owners for a walk and raised around £6,000 for the Hospice.

Laura Fitzsawyer, Events Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "It was a glorious day; the walk took our supporters and their dogs through the beautiful grounds of the park, which I'm sure they all enjoyed - some of them went around twice, so it must have been good!

"I would like to thank Mars Pet Care for sponsoring the event, all of the stallholders who added a little 'extra' to the day and especially all the pooches and their lovely owners for turning out and raising so much money for LOROS - you are all amazing!"

Those of you who have not yet returned your sponsorship forms can do so by bringing them to the Hospice or any LOROS Shop. Alternatively you can call us 0116 231 8431.

The three raffle winners are:

  • Husse gift box – Mary Jacques

  • The Love Dog Project photograpy voucher – L Harrison

  • I love my dog plaque – Bree Edwards
