Qdos Consulting’s annual charity event this year was an epic 24 hour, 4,000 mile spinathon - equivalent of the length of the river Amazon.

The event, which took place outside Leicester Cathedral, kicked off at 3pm on Thursday 19 May and carried on throughout the night and in to the following afternoon.

The colleagues faced a punishing schedule, which was particularly tough during the cold dark night hours, but completed their task with time to spare thanks to a little help from Alt textsome wonderful volunteers and passers-by.

Toni Robinson, Director of Qdos Consulting said: "I am so proud of what we achieved as a team, which was made up of Qdos Employees, Clients and Friends of Qdos.

"It is certainly one of the hardest challenges we have ever done – and a true demonstration of community spirit with all the help and support we received."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS added: "Huge congratulations to the Qdos team for completing their spinathon.

"I spent an hour with them early on Friday morning and took a turn on the cycle, so I know how hard they must have worked!

"I am so impressed with their commitment and effort and must congratulate them all on their hard work and perseverance to their fundraising challenge - Well done!

The team has raised a remarkable £5,000 so far and funds are still coming in. The final total will be split between LOROS, Hope Against Cancer and the Lord’s Taverners.
