Emily Moore & Milly-Skye Elliott wanted to raise funds for LOROS so decided to organise a colouring competition.

The pupils, from Badgerbrook primary school in Whetstone, charged 20p an entry and the children chose either a minions or unicorn picture to colour. The competition was open to all years (1-6) and the winning entry won a Terry's chocolate orange.

The girls, who are in year 4, raised a marvellous £20.02 and this was matched by Emily's dad giving them a total of £40.04.

Debbie Dickman, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, said: "What a lovely thing for two young children to think about doing.

"The amount they raised could pay for eight patients' meals for a day. Thank you so much Emily and Milly - Skye. We hope you are very proud of yourselves - you should be!".
