Local software solutions company, Evolve, have embarked on a new charity initiative to support local charities throughout the year. LOROS was selected to receive last month's proceeds and colleagues from the firm recently came along to present their donation.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator said: “When the team came to visit they were so touched by the work we do that they Increased their total donation to £50.

"Evolve have also told us of their plans to organise a summer BBQ with considerably more proceeds going to charity. They are happy to spread the word about LOROS and our events so it is great to have a local company like Evolve on-board with our fundraising.

"We would like to thank them all for their support and we look forward to updates regarding their plans."

Emily Goldsmith from Evolve added: “All proceeds from Evolve’s tuck shop will be heading straight to a charity of the business’s choice – meaning that snacking in the office is finally a good thing!

“LOROS are the happy recipients of this month’s donation and were pleased to learn that future donations may be making their way to the charity.

“I hope that our donation will help a considerable amount. It was wonderful to come down to the Hospice and have the opportunity to see what LOROS is about and gain a better understanding of the care the charity provides to patients and their families.”
