People are being given the opportunity to get a head-start on their Christmas shopping by attending a fantastic fashion and pampering event at LOROS Hospice.

On Saturday 29th October, LOROS will be hosting Frock, Swap and Shop, which will feature a variety of independent stalls, selling anything from vintage clothing to jewellery, handbags, cosmetics and gifts.

As well as browsing the stalls, visitors will be able to receive a pamper from Ragdale Hall beauty therapists, who will be on site especially for the event.

LOROS Fundraiser Dave Nicklin said: “This is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself and of course, your loved ones and get prepared for Christmas early.”

The event, which will be taking place from midday until 3pm, will also give visitors the chance to shop at a one-off LOROS ‘pop-up’ shop, which will be selling some of the Hospice’s best new and pre-loved stock.

“We’re also asking visitors to refresh their wardrobe and have a clear out, as we head in to winter,” added Dave.

“We’re encouraging people to bring any unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories to the event; all those who bring a bag of donations with them will receive a free gift in return.”

The event marks the end of the hospice’s ‘Frocktober’ campaign which has been taking place throughout October, encouraging people to host their own fundraising ‘Frock Swap’ parties.

There is currently a special offer on tickets, with those bought in advance priced at three for two, which means, three people can go for just £10.

To take advantage of the three for two offer simply quote ‘FROCK16’ when purchasing tickets.
