The most romantic day of the year is almost upon us and LOROS is helping you to put a smile on your Valentine’s face with tickets to a Leicester Comedy Festival gig.

With national comedy superstar Mark Watson headlining Laughing With LOROS, tickets to this show will be sure to win the hearts of loved ones.

Taking place at Melton Theatre on 25th February, the show will be hosted by Melton-born comedian Jon Pearson, with Ellie Taylor and Archie Maddocks also taking to the stage for LOROS.

LOROS Events Lead Laura Betts said:“It’s so wonderful to be able to put on an event that is all about encouraging laughter and smiles.

“So many people think of LOROS as a sad and sometimes gloomy place and but it is actually just the opposite and we love nothing more than being able to make people smile.”

The event comes after LOROS held its first ever comedy gig, ‘Laughter At LOROS’, inside the Hospice last year.

The show proved to be a huge success with tickets selling out within a few weeks of going on sale, before being nominated for the Leicester Comedy Festival ‘Make Me Happy Community Award’.

Alongside Laughing With LOROS at Melton Theatre, the Hospice will once again be hosting their very own show, Laughter At LOROS, on 17th February.

Headlining this year’s Laughter At LOROS is former English Comedian of the Year, Jack Campbell, alongside Andrea Hart and Thomas Rackham, with Leicester-lad Phil Drew hosting.

So, this February 14th embrace your inner Frank Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald and invite someone to be your Funny Valentine and have a laugh for LOROS at one, if not both, of their comedy gigs.

Tickets are available now for Laughing With LOROS, for just £15 at loros.co.uk/laughing or call Melton Theatre on (01664) 851111.

Plus, if you buy your tickets for Laughing With LOROS before 9am on Monday 13th February, you will be entered into a draw and could be in with the chance of winning four tickets to see Jon Richardson’s show at Melton Theatre.
