Prepare yourselves for a night to remember as we once again set out to enjoy an evening full of entertainment at this year’s annual charity fundraiser, Music in the Park.

Tickets are now available to buy for the event, which will be taking place in Wistow Hall on Saturday 10th June.

Complete with music from talented local covers band, Double Yellers and popular songs, including ‘The Last Night of the Proms’ by the award-winning Ratby Co-operative Brass Band, the night is set to be as good as ever.

LOROS Interim Fundraising Manager and event committee member, Adrian Walker said: “This is one of the best music events in the county with two great bands and the finale with fireworks is always something special.

“Come along and in turn help support local charities.”

The finale music is accompanied by a fabulous firework display in front of Wistow Hall, where the entire concert will be compered by Carolyn Oldershaw.

The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Wigston and is fun for all ages and families, with visitors encouraged to bring their own picnic to eat throughout the evening.

Hot drinks and snacks will be available from the LOROS Wigston Support Group stall throughout the evening.

Gates open 5.30pm, with music starting at 7.30pm and the Finale and Grand Firework Display at approximately 10pm.

Advanced tickets are a bargain at only £15.00, with children ages 10-16yrs £5.00 and under 10’s free.

Tickets are available on the night at a cost of £20.00 and there is free on-site car parking.

Advanced tickets are available from all 28 of the LOROS Shops throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and other local outlets, plus the ticket hotline for card payments is available on (0116) 231 8431.

The profits from the event will be going to LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice, and Young Leicestershire.
