Dust off the cobwebs and shake off your Christmas dinner by joining fundraisers for this year’s Winter Walk.

For the 38th year, villagers of Houghton on the Hill and friends will once again be setting out on a five mile walk across beautiful Leicestershire countryside.

Fun for all the family and dogs too, meet at either Thurnby Village Hall or Houghton on the Hill Village Hall between 9am and 10am on Wednesday 27th December.

Speaking about the walk, Senior Community and Challenge Fundraiser at LOROS, Adrian Walker said: “Our annual Winter Walk continues to prove popular year on year.

“Last year, we raised more than £7,000 for LOROS through donations and sponsorship, which is a fantastic amount, especially around Christmas time.”

Refreshments are provided, with participants able to enjoy a nice hot drink or cup of mulled wine before setting off on the walk.
