Bursting with bubbles and colour, the LOROS Colourfun Mile returns for another year and with the early bird offer coming to an end soon, families need to sign up soon if they want to save money.

The annual one mile event that takes place in Hinckley on Wednesday 6th June, will not only see participants showered in colour but new for this year, there will be bubbles too.

Families can bag a bargain with a special sign up price of £40 for a family ticket, instead of £50 but they are encouraged to hurry, as the offer expires on 26th January. Alt textLOROS Fundraising Co-ordinator Laura Fitzsawyer said: “Our yearly Colourfun Mile is the perfect excuse to get messy and covered in colour for charity.

“Year upon year, children and adults alike parade through the town of Hinckley with the biggest smiles on their faces and with the new addition of bubbles this time round, we think they will have more fun than ever.”

More than 1,700 people took part in the event last year, raising £11,000 for LOROS. Fun for all ages, as well as dogs, the fundraising team is hoping for even more people to take part this year.

Each participant will receive a free white t-shirt that they can personalise ahead of the event, or keep clean in preparation for it being coated in colour.

This year’s Colourfun Mile will begin at 7pm, from Argent’s Mead, in Hinckley.

Until 26th January, a family bundle, which includes sign up for two under 12’s and two over 12’s, will cost just £40 and thereafter, it will cost £50.

General prices are £12 for under 12’s and £15 for over 12’s ahead of the event, with prices increasing by £3 each when people sign up on the day.
