LOROS will be opening its biggest store yet, with a shop, showroom and donation centre based in Wigston Magna welcoming people through its doors this Thursday.
The shop, which will be situated in Pullman Road, will offer a coffee bar and cook shop, as well as a department store selling greeting cards, ladies wear and children’s clothes, plus, there will be extensive storage space that the Hospice can use as a donation warehouse.
This will be the Hospice’s first ‘superstore’, adding to the already current 28 shops location across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
LOROS Trading Manager Jonathan Capewell said: “We are so excited about the opening of our brand new store in Wigston Magna.
“We’ve spent quite some time looking for a suitable, large, out of town property to rent, with storage, which was suitable for both shopping and donating so when we found this site, we knew instantly it was perfect.”
The new store also has on-site parking, making it easy for people to drop donations off, as well as park-up and have a browse of the shop, before grabbing a coffee.
“We understand just how difficult it is for people who want to donate goods to park up near our other shops throughout the city and county but hopefully, having a car park at the Wigston store will make things easier for them,” added Jonathan.
“Like with all new shop openings, we will be looking for as many donations as possible, so look forward to welcoming any unwanted home and clothing items that people want to give.” The shop will be officially opening on Thursday 1st March.
Volunteers are also needed, so if you have some time to spare Monday to Sunday, from 9am until 5pm, then please get in touch by emailing volunteers@loros.co.uk
