This summer you are invited to pack a picnic and head to Wistow for the annual Music in the Park concert.
Taking place on Saturday, June 9, in the beautiful grounds of Wistow Hall, it promises a great night out for all ages.
You will be able to relax in the picturesque spot as you enjoy music by the high-energy 'Ska-aManga' band and the award-winning 'Ratby Brass Band'.
The evening will finish with a fabulous fireworks display in front of Wistow Hall.
The concert is organised by Wigston Rotary Club, and the compere is former BBC Radio Leicester presenter Monica Winfield.
The event will raise money for two county charities – LOROS hospice and Young Leicestershire, which provides support for young people.
Gates open at 5.30pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm. The fireworks display is from 10pm.
Tickets are available from Ken Bailey at Wistow Rural Centre (cash and cheques only), and at all 28 LOROS shops throughout Leicestershire and Rutland.
