A mid-summer garden party in the beautiful grounds of Markham House.

That’s the invitation from BBC East Midlands Today presenter and LOROS patron Anne Davies who is hosting the special event on Sunday 17th June to raise funds for LOROS Hospice.

With Pimms on the lawn and a mouth-watering buffet, this exclusive event promises to be a perfect summer afternoon.

Laura Betts, Fundraising Manager at LOROS said: “Once again we are hugely grateful to Sir David and Lady Samworth for their generosity in allowing us use of their grounds, without which the garden party would not be possible.

“With a tempting buffet, delicious desserts and the gorgeous backdrop of Markham House and gardens, all we need is a sunny afternoon to make it absolutely perfect.

“Whilst we can’t promise the weather, we can guarantee our guests an unforgettable experience with a warm welcome from LOROS patron Anne Davies.

“Our last garden party raised a huge £10k, so we’re really hoping to match or even beat that total this year.”

This event is kindly sponsored by Westerby Group, with arrival drinks supported by Burleighs Gin and catering being provided by Dimblebee.

Tickets are priced at £35, and are available from LOROS Fundraising, Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9QE or by emailing: fundraising@loros.co.uk
