LOROS Hospice has announced the full line up of speakers for its conference Getting it Right for Patients on Friday 9th November.

Joining acclaimed author and journalist Matthew Syed and palliative care specialist Dr Kathryn Mannix, will be Rodger Charlton, Professor of Undergraduate Primary Care Education at Leicester Medical School and Pip Hardy, co-founder of Patient Voices.

The speakers cover a diversity of expertise and approach, from insight into shifting organisational mindset to a focus on putting patients’ experiences at the centre of care, to training the next generation of doctors.

John Knight, CEO at LOROS Hospice said: “We’re delighted to welcome such a stellar list to discuss this important topic.

“We want patients and their families across the palliative care sector to be supported as well as possible. These speakers, outstanding in their fields, will help open up debate on how services can improve to serve the needs of patients and their families better. Getting it Right for Patients will be an inspiring, energetic discussion.”

Tickets are available now until 16th September at an early bird rate. A limited number of concessionary tickets are also available. For further details visit the LOROS website at www.loros.co.uk/GettingItRight.
