LOROS Hospice is inviting businesses big and small to an exclusive lunch event in its new purpose-built Professional Development Centre.

The lunch event, which will be held on Friday 1st March between 12-1.30pm, is designed to showcase the Centre’s beautifully-presented range of meeting rooms and catering facilities as well as develop the charity’s relationship with a range of business organisations.

John Knight, LOROS CEO, said: “LOROS enjoys the support of some of the City and County’s premier business community and we are hugely grateful for their involvement.

“We want to ensure that lots more of Leicester’s enterprises are aware of the great facilities we are now able to offer. Every room that is booked, every lunch that is ordered will help contribute to the care of the patients and families we support.

“Our venue facilities are second to none, with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, so come along on 1st March to find out more.”

As well as venue hire, LOROS works in partnerships which bring mutual benefits to both businesses and the Hospice. From team days, to challenge events to sponsorship opportunities, business has an important role to play in supporting patients and their families.

Simon White, Deals Director at PwC, said: “Knowing that through our work we’ve helped such a good cause as LOROS had a really positive impact on our team. Staff bonded in a way which helped support the charity, but it also brought real benefits to our business too.”

In addition to a tour of LOROS and a delicious lunch, attendees will be able to hear business coach, author and international speaker Joy Marsden, who will be talking about how leaving a positive legacy can make your business stronger.

Tickets are free for this event and available at loros.co.uk/businesslunch
