More than one hundred people braved the weather to run the Leicester marathon and half marathon for LOROS Hospice on Sunday 14th October.
LOROS Hospice has extended the deadline and added a new category to its ‘VR for Good’ film competition to help enthusiastic hobbyists to apply.
Despite the poor weather LOROS’ Big Day Out was very far from a wash out as around 1,700 people visited the family fun day on Saturday 13th October!
LOROS has opened its doors to a brand new Day Therapy and Outpatients department. These highly anticipated facilities have been in development for almost a year and will allow LOROS to care for an extra 250 patients a year with the very best end of life care.

The mobile resource centre, known as LOROS Local was targeted on 8th October, at the start of the most important week in the Hospice’s calendar, Hospice Care Week 8th – 14th October.
Patients and families were absolutely thrilled to meet Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell this afternoon when he popped into the Hospice on his way to De Montfort Hall for his performance this evening.
