This study day for Health and Care Support Workers aims to improve skills in providing compassionate personalised care for people in the last year of life.
What will I learn from this course?
This day focuses on the 5 priorities for care of the dying: recognising that someone is dying; communicating sensitively with them and their family; involving them in decisions; supporting them and their family; and creating an individual plan of care that includes adequate nutrition and hydration
