Eight teams from various departments at Aston Martin, Gaydon particpated in the company's first 6-a-side football tournament which was held in glorious sunshine on the 12th August at Kineton High School's astroturf pitch.
Following a gruelling group stage and tense semi-finals, the final match was contested by IT and Purchasing A. It was a close match - Purchasing A took the lead early on but IT came out 4-1 winners to lift the trophy.
After a successful day of sport, team-building and competiveness it is hoped that the tournament will become an annual event.
Contributions by all the teams raised £230 for their chosen charity, LOROS. We would like to say a big thank you for their donation which could pay for 10 hours of care for one of our inpatients.
