33 volunteers from The Royal Bank of Scotland offices in Leicesterand have all spent time helping out at the Hospice.

Their journey started back in June when the first team came to the warehouse to help sort out goods that had been donated by the public. That was followed by five other teams fulfilling the same task. Six more colleagues helped put together the goody bags for the Leicester Marathon runnersĀ on Friday 21st October.

Nicola Wills, Specialist Complaints Handler at RBS, said: "We have really enjoyed our time volunteering at LOROS; all the staff that took part came away with a real feeling of satisfaction from helping such a worthwhile charity.

"Godfrey enjoyed it so much that he has signed up to be a regular volunteer!

"We have also raised funds for LOROS by having dress down days, baking cakes, selling hot dogs and samosas and even raffling of the managers' car parking spaces.

"It has been an experience that has touched us all at RBS Complaints and one that we hope to build on in the future."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator add: "The whole team have been absolutely wonderful, very switched on and extremely thoughtful of others - it was a real privilege to work with them."
