John Ferneley College students presented LOROS with a cheque following their fantastic efforts at their recent 'dress down day' and 'cake sale' fundraising events.
Debbie Dickman, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "It is really pleasing when our young people show such compassion and work so hard to support their local hospice and we can't thank them enough for all their support.
"The £1,199.31 raised by the students could pay for 48 aromatherapy, reflexology or massage sessions, helping to relieve a patient’s pain and sickness, or to reduce anxiety in patients and their family members.
"Your fundraising really does make a difference - thank you again."
