Stuart Battle and the Jazzbash team raised a wonderful £1200.00 which will be split equally between LOROS and PROSTaid.
This was the 13th Annual Jazzbash which included performances from The Welland Valley Stompers, J for Jazz, Steve Fearn and Friends, The Titanic Jazzband, Russ Merryfield, The Secret Jazzband, The Kool Dudes and Night Train. The event is organised in memory of Dave Rae.
Fundraising Co-ordinator Clare Harwood said: "All of the performers have such a passion for music and The Musician is the perfect venue for this relaxed and welcoming event.
"Jazzbash has been running for 13 years and that just shows how dedicated Stuart and the rest of the team are. Dave’s family and friends experienced LOROS’ services first hand when Dave was a patient so it’s wonderful that they are still fundraising to support the Hospice.
"As Stuart tells me each year, ‘We’ll just keep doing it until someone tells us to stop!’
