Thank you to the Birstall Methodist Thursday Group for organising a night of entertainment from the Little Big Band.
With classics such as 'Getting to Know You' and 'Blowing in the Wind' the night proved incredibly successful raising £353.10 for LOROS.
Fundraising Co-ordinator Clare Harwood said: "'I was so pleased to be invited along to the concert. The Little Big Band were full of enthusiasm and musical talent and the audience sang along from start to finish."
The money raised from this concert could pay for a patient to attend our day therapy service, plus four aromatherapy, reflexology or massage sessions, helping to relieve a patient's pain and sickness, or reduce anxiety in patients and their family members, as well as two patient's meals for a day.
The Thursday Group are supporting LOROS throughout the year so the total is set to grow which is absolutely amazing.
