Chris Masters and his friends take on the UK Three Peaks Challenge in aid of LOROS

A massive shout out for Chris Masters and his friends who took on the UK Three Peaks Challenge in aid of LOROS and another local charities.

With a couple of injuries early on, their departure times from both Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike were delayed and they arrived at Snowdon in Wales already an hour and a half behind schedule.

Having made it to the top of Snowdon with only an hour and ten minutes to go, eight of the 12-strong team managed to muster the energy to run down and finish the challenge within the 24 hour time limit.

We think it was an incredible feat to complete all three peaks in one fell swoop whether or not it was inside the 24 hour goal post! Congratulations and a huge thank you to all those that took part and supported the team.

Team members included: Chris Masters, Gina Letts, Michael Love, Adam Woolman, Stewart Hook, Luke Newcombe, Jo Martin, Penny Masser, Aimie Finlayson-Cheshire, & Jamie Capes amongst others.

Between them they hope to have raised an incredible £1,750 for LOROS as well as funds for other local charities.
