A big thank you to Bruce Scott, Dave Finch and The Queens Head Pub for organising the annual Queens Head Golf Society 'Brian Tate Memorial Day'.
A great day was had by all and they raised an amazing £1,787.10.
The results of the competition were:
- Third place with 37points - Andrew Moore
- Second place with 38points - Andy Watts
- First place and winner of the Brian Tate Memorial Trophy was Pete Thompson with a score of 42points.
Debbie Dickman, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS Hospice added; “We are very grateful to everyone involved for their generous donations each year.
“The amazing amount raised at this event is equivalent to the cost of one of our specialist nurses to look after our inpatients for over 17 days; it is a fantastic contribution to the care we provide."
