On Sunday 6th August, Sarah Kelsan opened a pop up cafe in her house and garden in memory of her sister, Cyndee Sands
As well as some really yummy refreshments that included homemade lemonade, cakes and savouries, the visitors were encouraged to take part in the raffle and were also entertained by Somerby Dance Group whose age range varied from 5-12 years.
Sarah and her lovely visitors raised a fabulous £666.49.
Debbie Dickman, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "We are delighted that the sun shone for Sarah and that her pop up cafe was so successful.
"The money she and her supporters raised could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for almost a week and we would like to thank them all very much for their wonderful support to our Hospice."
