Big shout out to the walkers who tackled the 109 mile Cleveland Way to raise funds for LOROS

A massive thank you and huge congratulations to our team of walkers (and their support team) who successfully completed the 109 mile (175 Km) Cleveland Way Walk and raised thousands of pounds for the Hospice. We are so grateful for your commitment and support.

The Cleveland Way National Trail starts at Helmsley and ends on Filey Brigg and offers the best of both worlds, heather moorland and stunning coastal scenery.  Here’s is just a small selection of the images for each day of the trek and a quick rundown of their itinerary.

Helmesley to Sutton Bank- 10 miles

Sutton Bank to Osmotherley -12 miles

Osmotherley to Clay Bank Top- 12 miles

Clay Bank Top to Cockshaw Hill-12 miles

Cockshaw Hill to Saltburn. 13 miles (including the climb up and down Roseberry Topping!)    

Saltburn to Runswick Bay-12 miles

Runswick Bay to Robin Hoods Bay-14 miles

Robins Hoods Bay to Scarborough-15 miles

Scarborough to Filey-10 miles

Trekking is a great way to get active and also helps with fundraising for LOROS- each year we have a selection of beautiful walks that are suitable for most walkers.

With practice walks throughout the year and lots of support along the way, we are always there to help and advice.
